Christian Dörre

Attorney-at-Law and Tax Attorney

Christian Dörre, born 1971, studied law at Goethe-University in Frankfurt am Main. After passing both state exams in 1996 and 1999, he obtained a Master of Laws Degree (LL.M.) at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville, VA, in 2000. Immediately afterwards he passed the New York Bar Exam.

Mr. Dörre was admitted as Rechtsanwalt to the German bar in 1999 and as Attorney-at-Law to the New York state bar in 2001. From 2000 to 2006, he worked at Debevoise & Plimpton LLP, a leading international law firm, first at the firm's headquarters in New York City and from 2002 in its Frankfurt office. At the end of 2006, he joined Hess + Blank as partner.

Mr. Dörre advises German and multi-national companies, government agencies and private clients. His practice focuses on corporate and contract law, mergers & acquisitions and joint ventures including employment law matters, private equity fund structuring, investment law and gift and estate planning.

Since 2009 Mr. Dörre carries the title Tax Attorney.
